Does anyone know more about this one?
http://filters.muziq.be/model/eh/su2001
It seems like it was only sold in Japan, no labels on the instrument, but the EH logo is clearly visible on the papers…
woah, what the hell is that!!!!
it looks very ‘prototype’ ……. really unfinished looking!!
Yes, but they’re not rare enough for that, they often show up on auctions.yahoo.co.jp
I don’t actually remember ever seeing one (usually, when somebody here posts some old EHX oddity, I immediately remember it and get nostalgic — but not this time). If it was only ever available in Japan, I guess I’d personally consider it a distant cousin, thrice removed…
wierd, why would it only be available in Japan, unless it was made there maybe?
Odd!
I asked Gary about this and he said “No such thing was ever made!” I directed him to the webpage showing it and he said “I’ll call you back…”. That was the last I heard.
Possibly an unauthorized EH product?
It was on the Japanese EH site (it’s one of the links on my page), but maybe that’s only the site of the importer there?
You have a direct link to the japanese EH site?
Here’s the closest thing I can find for Japanese EHX http://electroharmonix.co.jp/eh/index.htm
That’s the one, the link on my site is to an archived copy (at the Internet Archive) of the page of this product on that site because that page is not on the site anymore…
