Home › Forums › Help/Technical Questions › Eddy — sort of a slapback effect
Hello, everyone.
I get some sort of a very short slapback effect when I’m using Eddy in the chorus mode — could anyone confirm if it’s normal or a bug? It’s less perceptible in chords and more in solo notes.
I understand (still vaguely, after all the videos) that chorus is based on some doubling of the signal, but my other chorus, Mooer Ensemble King (apparently a BOSS CE-2 clone) doesn’t have this effect. It’s as if Mooer’s sound is more ‘unified’ whereas in Eddy one signal is catching up with the other. I’m all the more suspicious because I got Eddy second-hand; but maybe it’s just legitimate variation in chorus circuits.
I’ve searched the forums but can’t seem to find anything about it.
Thank you!
UPD: I’ve received an answer at another forum; so, it is indeed just a chorus variation, nothing’s wrong with the pedal.
Dan if you feel there is an issue please write the techs at info@ehx.com.
