Tagged: Nano Big Muff
The current setup of my pedalboard has a “drive section” consisting of a Nano Big Muff and a Hot Wax looped thru a Silencer. Before the signal hits the Silencer, it goes thru a tuner (with the buffer on) and a compressor. The way my board is laid out, putting the Nano Big Muff at the start of the signal chain would require some serious pedal-juggling. Am I okay having the Nano Big Muff in the Silencer’s loop with the Hot Wax or am I gonna have to do some shuffling?
You should be fine.
Give it a shot and see if you hear a difference.
The muffs have a very low impedance and to my ear sound better with a buffer in front.
That is part of the David Gilmour secret…
