Home › Forums › Vintage EHX › Black Finger Tube Light – Always On
I just purchased a used Black Finger compressor pedal and really like it, however I find it a bit annoying that the light that is supposed to accentuate (or simulate?) the light of the tubes is on regardless of whether the pedal is in bypass mode or being used. I guess it doesn’t hurt anything, but it makes me nervous to leave the pedal plugged in all the time. Is there a way to disengage it (other than remove the light)? If not, do people just unplug the pedal when not in use or let it shine 24/7? While really easy, it seems like unplugging and plugging in the pedal a few times a day may put unnecessary wear on the wall wart and/or the power jack on the pedal. Maybe I am overthinking this…
Thanks in advance for your input and suggestions.
Any Black Finger owners out there trying to figure this out as well?
