EHX Small Stone not working after daisy chaining.

havent had this issue with any other pedal. I daisy chained the first one i bought, it broke, thought the “daisy chain causing it to break thing” a fluke,(why would it??) exchanged it, and this one is doing the same thing. the led light comes on, but no signal is passed..only in bypass lol. If I turn the knob *all the way up** I can hear a rhythmic popping but nothing else. i dont know anything about pedal electronics, but is it possible some “protection mechanism” kicked in when the pedal didnt see the right voltage or whatever>? I do have a multimeter, although again, im green wrt this stuff. love the sound and would like to avoid doing another return! thank yall! its the latest version of the pedal , just bought it in july.

Doesn’t work with battery, doesnt work with dedicated ps, nothing. The other two pedals were oceans 11 and flatiron fuzz. Both times. Small stone>flatiron>oceans 11 was the order both times. True tone power supply with the harness thing. Help?
