Hey friends, I just bought the S9 pedal. I play the violin and wanted to have string pads in my loops. So, the samples are great. I love it. I have one HUGE problem though. Auto-trigger and manual mode are totally unusable. It either ignores extra loud double-stops or gets triggered by the faintest high notes (on the same sensitivity setting). I tested it with my guitar – same outcome. I need this pedal to have a momentary switch and a latch button, a la Pitch Fork (which I freaking love). Foot switch is SO LOUD! No bueno. It’s a 3P3T type (I think it’s what it’s called).
CAN ANYBODY OUT THERE MAKE THIS MOD?!? PLEASE!! I’m comfortable with a soldering iron, but I don’t know where to even start here! Also, all these 9 series pedals are amazing. Especially Mel 9.
