My small stone 4800 blew 2 resistors, R1 and R27. I replaced them but still not working. I checked all op amps and got 18v on pins 4 to 7. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.
Here is the schematic
You shouldn’t have 18v anywhere. What are you powering it with?
9v battery
Could I have another bad resistor?
Maybe, but if resistors blew then you had to be powering it with something larger than 9v. I’d venture that some ICs are blown.
I was powering with a 9v isolated power supply when they blew. Could one bad IC cause 18v output on all of them? Could it be a faulty transistor? Guess I am not quite sure where to start tracking down the problem since output reading on all IC’s is the same and the three electrolytic caps and the 4 transistors have continuity. Thanks.
Continuity is not a good thing. At this point you’re probably better off sending it to a tech.
