I recently bought Key 9 and C 9 pedals to use in backing up a vocalists on guitar. We are limited to duet style by small venues in my area, so I’m planning to use those pedals along with a looper and drum machine to get closer to the sound we might obtain with additional musicians. Some basics for using these pedals (avoid bends and slides, generally attack strings at the same times when playing chords unless “rolls” are desired, play clean on percussive presets) seem obvious and are discussed in the more popular online demos. If anyone can provide additional observations, or point me in the right direction for other online resources/help (such as guitar voicings that work well with the pedals, other technique pointers, etc.), I’d appreciate it. Thanks!
