Hi, I tried to reproduce the settings as shown in the demo, to get a synth sound for the guitar, but no luck. It seems that the picture showing the settings is wrong or inverted with another. Does anyone know the solution to get this kind of sound with the attack decay ? Maybe Bill, if you read this forum ?

The settings shown are correct, but there is a lot of ways it can sound different.
    1. Make sure none of the three preset LEDS are on. Otherwise the knobs will not be correct.
    2. Make sure the “poly” led in ON.
    3. Make sure the red “harmonix” led is on. Its above the left footswitch.
    4. Use the neck pickup on your guitar. I have humbuckers.

    Hope that helps.

Finally all I got is still a fuzzy sound. Maybe because of my single coil pickup (I have a stratocaster).
As you said maybe too much ways for the sound to be different. Too bad, ‘cause I love the synth sound you have on this video. When I’ll have the opportunity, I’ll try with some humbuckers pickups…
Thanks for your help anyway, and have a nice day.
BTW, I like your playing ?

    Ohm Thanks
I bet you can get it.
Are you sure the Harmonix knob is at zero?
If not can you send a mp3 or wav recording to info@ehx.com
Have them forward to me. I will see if I can help.

Before sending to you some recording, could we please resume the settings, just to be sure that I’m doing right :

    1- Poly is ON
    2- Harmonix switch is ON
    3- Sensitivity is around 1 o’clock
4- H Vol is turned to maximum
5- Tone is turned to maximum too
6- Harmonix is set to minimum (at zero)
    7- VOL knob is at 3 o’clock
    8- BLEND knob is around 4 o’clock
    9- ATTACK knob is around 8 o’clock
    10- DECAY knob is around 2 o’clcok
    11- Neck pickup selected
    12- Fender Amp used
    13- Slight Reverb used

    Are these settings ok ?

    Yes that looks right.
    blend is at max.
Make sure the amp is set very clean.
    Use the neck pickup
Make sure you are not overdriving the amp into distortion.

    Thanks Ohm
    I had a listen.
First That sound I did is for solo sounds only. it will not work for chords.
Second, something is wrong as it sounds like you’re not driving the pedal hard enough.
I can’t even hear the effect, it’s just dark.
Turn up the sensitivity knob and make sure the poly light is on.
Your going to have to adjust things to work as it’s not being driven hard to open the envelope..

Hi, excuse me for my english, but what do you mean by “driving hard” ?

Your signal is to week or low, so turn up the sensitivity control to make it trigger easier. Also use your bridge pickup.

Hi, okay I understand better. In fact I have already tried what you suggest. I think that in the end with humbucking pickups, or a compressor before the pedal, it would work better. So I’ll wait until I have the opportunity to try one or the other.
Anyway, thanks for your help, and for all your inspiring videos 🙂
