    at a high position of the drive knob and the volume knob, clips are heard. Is this normal for this pedal?

    No! Are you over-driving the pedal?
    Does it go away if you lower the keyboard volume. Are you over driving your amp or mixer?
    If not please write the techs at info@ehx.com

    thanks for the answer!
    yes, it go away when I turn the volume down on the keys. probably the pedal is overloaded at high volume of the keys.

    Also please make sure its not over-driving your amp or mixer. That happens a lot.
