Valves/Tubes used be obtained from Russia until this war; recently, Russian sanctions against the West listed 200 items they will no longer export, and valves/tubes are amongst them.

China and Slovakia produce valves/tubes as well, but China has had a fire in their production facilities, and Slovakia’s factory is drowning in orders.

Would it make good business sense to approach factories in South Korea or Taiwan who make magnetrons and other power-handling devices to start filling in the gap left by Russia’s sanctions?

Just thinking out loud.
