I know what it does, but how does it work?

A little background. I have a Keeley Compressor Plus which has a Blend function. At full counter-clockwise (“Clean”), it’s already blending at 50/50. So it’s not 100% clean. That means I have to set my Level to 2 or 3 o’clock for unity in order to make up for the volume drop when Blend is at “0”.

Does the Blend on the Tone Corset work the same way? Or does it give 100% clean at “0”, without having to adjust for volume drop?
