I’m finding a lot of conflicting information in regards to what products I need/should never use on scratchy pots/faders.
Was hoping someone has some up-to-date info on what I need to maintain dirty pots and faders (Such as on the bass microsynth)
Currently I only have a can of Deoxit D5 which I hear is good for cleaning pots but needs to be followed by a lubricant of some kind.
I also hear you should never use such product on faders (eg bass microsynth) as they have grease applied during manufacturing that would be stripped off during the cleaning.
Any advice would be appreciated.
Cheers,
C
