Huh, actually, you are totally right. I was sure I checked it on the LINEAR position as well. Doing it again, it does exactly what I wanted it to do. Thanks a lot!
Doesn’t that only round up the pitch to the nearest major/minor/chroma tone?
I don’t think that’s true about going down. You can set the EXP pedal down and top position, and you can go from -1 to +1 octave.
I am not sure if I’m miscommunicating my question. If I use the knob on the Superego to change the pitch, there are many steps in the pitch. When I turn knobs that control the pitch on the SQ-1, it only does 5 steps, meaning 6 different pitches in Superego. This is true for any Voltage setting, but higher the voltage, higher the pitch change from moving the knob. Ideally, I’d wanna get as many pitch changes by turning the SQ-1 knob as I get them by turning the knob on the Superego.
Sorry for reviving this old thread, but I just got a Korg SQ-1 that I’m trying to use on the Superego Plus. When I try to sequence the pitch effect on the Superego, all I can get from the step knob is 6 different pitches, regardless of using 1, 2 or 5 Volts. Is that the most Superego can get from the SQ-1 or am I doing something incorrectly? I have a 1/8 cable plugged in the CV-A out running into the EXP of the Superego, using a 1/8-1/4 TRS plug adapter.
