julianModeratorQuote:Just wondering what order I should put these pedals in. Ibanez TS-9, Big Muff Pi, Boss Digital Delay, Q Tron +, LPB-1, Boss Compression, Dunlop CrybabyI’d go like this:
Qtron+ > Comp > Wah > Muff > TS9 > LPB1 > Delay
Comp after Qtron+ because you want the Qtron+ to respond to your playing dynamics.
Wah before fuzz because other way around sounds like a vacuum cleaner. Although that can be nice sometimes. With distortion, first thing I’d try is high gain going to lower gain. Though I’ve heard people have success with TS9 into Big Muff.
julianModeratorMore specifically, what are the requirements to be able to buy stuff from EH wholesale?
Let’s say I’ve just opened my shop and now I want to sell some EH stuff. . . what do I do?
julianModeratorI mean, what’s the process like?
You don’t just open a music store and suddenly become an EH dealer after all.
julianModeratorWow, thanks for all the detailed answers Flick!
V256 sounds very interesting/unusual in a good way.
julianModeratornice gif!
julianModeratorHow do you become an EH dealer?
julianModeratorthey use the same chip
July 14, 2009 at 5:08 pm in reply to: How easy would it be to wire in an out board on / off switch???? #99419julianModeratorDo you just want to be able to turn them all off/on, or all individually?
If you were to do the latter, you’d have tons of cables running back and forth, which is less than ideal.
The best thing to do would be to get a midi rack switching system.
julianModeratorLearning to use the Low Pass filter and the Q controls can work wonders on the EH units upper octaves.
julianModeratorQuote:Quote:The expression pedal controls delay time when the rate switch is set to either Vibrato or Chorus modes. Set the switch to EXP. PEDAL mode and the expression pedal controls the modulation rate.is this official info?
It came from someone on Harmony-Central who said he talked to Chip, who is an EH employee. So it’s not official info, but the guy on HCFX cited a credible source.
julianModeratorI’m a big fan of vibrato mode on the Clone Theory set shallow and fast for rotary sounds.
julianModeratorI’d think if there was a typo, we’d know by now. They would have said something to a dealer, and one of them would have spilled.
After all, Memory Toy was spilled by a dealer who was told about it by an EH rep on the phone. The rep could have made a price correction at the same time.
I don’t think the Memory Toy and Boy’s prices are going to differ too much.
julianModeratorI emailed about this about a year ago, and EHX engineer John Pisani had this to say:
“Though I have not tested the HOG’s expression pedal input with a control voltage, there should be no reason why it wouldn’t work. It can take 0 – 5V only.”
