CryabetesParticipant
you could do it but you’d need an A-B switch [like the DOD 270 or an EHX Switchblade] so you wouldn’t have the canceling/contradictory signals.

CryabetesParticipantIunno if they posted it on their site but they did an NYC BigMuff on their facebook not too long ago that had like, oscillation points and bonus footswitches and ridiculous things added in. They haven’t turned down any one off requests that I’ve seen yet.
CryabetesParticipantCubist Effects does some positively wild mods [not just in the ‘completely uncontrollable’ sense, but in the ‘functional/why hasn’t anyone else thought of this’ sense], but they’re out of australia. still, if you’re sending it away anyways, may as well send it somewhere for the royal treatment.
CryabetesParticipantQuote:Anyway… you can try one of those pedal switching things… but a good one would cost US$500+CryabetesParticipantkinda defeats the purpose of using the little, pedal sized amps, doesn’t it?
November 19, 2010 at 4:36 am in reply to: Can you use one exp. pedal for 2 effects simultaneously? #112656CryabetesParticipantI guess that, if both expression pedal jacks are Control Voltage types [should say in each product’s manual], it’ll work.
However, if either or both is controlled resistance type, it’ll be a mess.
just want julian to confirm that…however, either way, your A-B idea does work. or getting a stereo volume pedal. or getting two of the boss expression pedals and duct-taping the treadles [foot-lever-wah-thingies, in non pedal nerd terms] together.

:shame:but it does work?
November 18, 2010 at 5:01 am in reply to: Can you use one exp. pedal for 2 effects simultaneously? #112642CryabetesParticipantwith a Y-cable or similar setup, you wouldn’t have the same sweep response. It’d sum the voltage output and divide it and it’s basically just a mess . If you’re deadset on doing both with one exp pedal, use an A-B setup
or get a stereo volume pedal and use it as the exp pedal. no clue on what you’d want for the sweep potentiometer though.
CryabetesParticipantHooray a happy customer! this forum needs more people like you!
CryabetesParticipantbuy an audio jack at radioshack or from the internet, move the washer/nut from that one to the graphic fuzz.
or bring the pedal to the hardware store with you to get the sizes/whatever; most places i’ve gone have been pretty handy with getting me the right size stuff if I bring in the actual project. if there is a plastic washer [or you want to add one] and don’t feel like finding the right size, try cutting your own from the lid of a can of coffee/nuts/oatmeal.
CryabetesParticipantiunno. I’m not really a laptop midi guy. strictly drum machines and hardware synths. Have you tried asking that at the M-Audio forum or maybe an Ableton forum? I’ll ask my friend if there is anything he’d recommend but I’ve got nothing.
CryabetesParticipantmake sure it’s mono, title it “track1.wav”, make blank copies of it [so they’re the same length] for all the other tracks, and copy over the tempo into the tempo.txt file on the card, and yes.
CryabetesParticipantthose last two green ringers going anywhere or are they just hangin’ out?
CryabetesParticipantman, enough pitchshifters in that last one? I count three, maybe four if that last blue one that’s cut off is a ps-2,3, or 6.
