Tagged: Pitchfork settings
I have the manual on the Pitchfork pedal, but it isn’t completely clear on how to achieve my goal. I need to detune by one half step. So, my bass has standard tuning (EADG), but the song calls for D# G# C# F#. I could detune the bass a half step or transpose the score; however, since I picked up a Pitchfork it seems I should be able to have it make the adjustment.
Not being a music theorist, I assume the half step is what is referred to as a minor second. OK, that’s the m2 setting. It appears the toggle switch controls whether the shift is up or down. So, please let me know if I have this one correct, to achieve the above, I should turn blend 100% clockwise, set Shift to m2, throw the toggle down, latch down, and when I step on the switch I am a half step lower than my string tuning.
Thanks.
Yes -m2 is 1/2 step down.
Make sure the dry knob is a zero and the shift you are tuning volume is up.
In latch mode and your all set.
