If the pot’s definitely the problem and intermittent aside from opening it up and attempting to fix it the best option will be just to replace it.

Sensitivity, Tone & Sub-Harmonic are all B10k and Sensitivity & Blend are B100k.

Hmm finding a D-Shaft mount like the original will be tricky, you’ll have to wire in a different style of pot with a replacement knob most likely.

Where are you located? I can suggest a decent ‘local’ supplier.

    Hi
Did you happen to find a local or a another supplier of a D – shaft pot for my Deluxe Octave Multiplexer ?
    Thanks

    Hey

    Sorry, I missed your PMs!

As I said, finding a D-Shaft like the original will be difficult, usually they only come up on NOS parts broker sites in small quantities, that or scouring ebay.

Before you replace it though, can you describe the problem a little further? Which knob causes it to cut out? Is it scratchy? Just ruling out some bad joints on the PCB or some other issue.

If it’s the fuzz or blend though, your best bet will be to wire in one of these http://smallbear-electronics.mybigcommerce.com/pot-alpha-100k-linear-and-audio-usa-big-muff/

And assuming it has this style of knob, buy one of these to replace the original http://smallbear-electronics.mybigcommerce.com/knob-push-on-usa-big-muff-lge/
