I would like to import a drum track from Cubase via ezdrummer or BFD…If I keep it in the same format…44khz/16 bit, is this possible to say drop it on the first track of the 2880 and go from there…?
Thanks
make sure it’s mono, title it “track1.wav”, make blank copies of it [so they’re the same length] for all the other tracks, and copy over the tempo into the tempo.txt file on the card, and yes.
Thanks for the reply Cryabetes…Since I got ya cornered…
I have another question…I have an Axiom 61 keyboard controller, how would I go about utilizing sound libraries on the looper such as Garritan orchestra or Spectrasonics Omnisphere via the controller…At this point I have it going usb to my computer where the libraries are and I have an M-Audio project mix for my sound card…?
Thanks
iunno. I’m not really a laptop midi guy. strictly drum machines and hardware synths. Have you tried asking that at the M-Audio forum or maybe an Ableton forum? I’ll ask my friend if there is anything he’d recommend but I’ve got nothing.
