Hi,
I bought the electro-harmonix looper 95000 as I was on the market for a looper to play with my synths.
I have tested it out this morning using “Moog sub phatty” synth with various sounds. The functionality of the device is great but the playback sounds it nothing like the original source. It’s incredibly bassy and the high end is not crisp like the synth and its very dull and almost seems muted. I cant even correct the sound using an eq as the frequencies don’t seem to be there anymore.
Im not sure if there is something wrong with my unit or whether these are known sound playback characteristics? Im quite disappointed at the moment as it cost me £405.00. Please can you reply with your thoughts on this?
Are you going in/out stereo? If so, are you panning properly on both input and the recorded tracks themselves?
The problem was a bad cable.
