    So I have tried just about every distortion/fuzz under the sun (including vintage muffs) and always come back to my Germanium Big Muff. There is just something about the solid tone and versatility of it that has me permanently won over. If anyone is interested in hearing it in action, all the guitars in the song linked below are run through it to some extent. Signal chain is Fender Mustang->Germanium Big Muff->GAP Pre73DLX->Tascam UH-7000. No amp used:
