I own a vintage MircoSynth from the late 70’s that does not work. I opened the case and it looks intact except for a small yellow wire that’s attached to the switch (enclosed photo). I found the schematic drawings on line, however not sure what I’m looking at. Any thoughts as to where the loose end of the wire attaches? Any resources out there where I could have it looked out and possibly repaired?
Where are you located? I can do EU repairs and in the US The EH Man will probably be your best bet.
But the wire either goes to pin 1 of one of the 4558 or EH1048(CA3094), can’t tell which without seeing the rest of the board.
New Jersey, USA. Who’s the EH man?
Here’s a few photos, I own a soldering iron seems like a simple fix, however not sure what/where you’re referencing.
Thanks!
Additional phito
Can you upload the photos somewhere else (photobucket, imgur or whatever) the forum shrinks them to thumbnail size, makes it a bit difficult to see.
And The EH Man is a member on the forum who specializes in EHX pedals and repairing them but yes this shouldn’t be too tricky a fix once you know where the wire goes.
