    Hi everybody!

First of all, I live in Italy so our voltage is 220v.

    The chip inside is SDA1024A

An expert technician here in italy made a modification but inside the original made in USA clone theory the voltage is 110v.

He created an external adaptor from 110v to 220v. The former owner of my pedal does not remember the name of that guy.

I lost this adaptor during my moving from Rome to Milan.

I need to know the followings things please.

Voltage of the board is 15v. Its number or code is EH1317C.

    I have also pictures.

What is the ampere and ohm of the board?

    Thanks in advance.

    I am a desperate owner. :-(

    Regards
    Luca

You can buy step down transformers for this job, I use one like this http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/New-500W-240V-110V-exchanged-Step-Down-Stepdown-Transformer-Voltage-Converter-/252510939548?hash=item3acad3299c:g:sqEAAOSwIgNXvUge

You could also replace the internal transformer if you’re handy with a soldering iron.

I can’t tell you the exact amperage of the circuit but I can tell you for certain it’s less than 100mA, it’s probably about 15-25mA at a guess.

    Thanks man… but I already have a 110v – 220v transformer.

    There’s not internal transformer anymore.

As you can see… there is not an internal 110v transformer.

Ah okay, misunderstood your first post.

In that case, you could either wire up a DC jack and use an 18V DC pedal supply to power it or find a suitable replacement transformer to put in the enclosure.

    Why 18V?

    Why 18V?

There is an 78L15 regulator on board which regulates the voltage to 15V but it needs some extra voltage (about 1.7V if I recall correctly) to do its job and 18V is a fairly standard supply voltage that meets that criteria.

Let me understand better… you mean i need an adapter from 18v to 220v?

    Right?

I mean a standard pedal power supply that supplies 18V from the wall voltage, one like this would work https://www.thomann.de/gb/pigtronix_18v_power_supply.htm

And then you’d have to fit one of these to where the cable used to come from and solder it to the board in the right place.

    Thanx again Scruffie!

    What about this? — https://www.thomann.de/it/electro_harmonix_18dc_500_eu_power_supply.htm

That should be fine, you’d just have to wire the DC jack the opposite way as it’s a positive tip.

You was very kind until now Scruffie!

But i have to ask you…

You mean “opposite” about the adaptor you put in link or about mine?

    Did you see my pix?

I meant you’ll have to wire the lugs on this the opposite way to the other adapter as the EHX adapter is center positive instead of negative.

So where it says to board – you’d wire it to board +
