Home › Forums › Vintage EHX › Need help with Bad Stone power wire location on pc board
Hello. I have a vintage Bad Stone in the large sheet metal box with orange bad stone (all lower case) and the big black rectangle with PHASE SHIFTER in all caps. This is the pc board with the painted over traces, not the real early one with all the solder all over them (I have at least one of those as well). It has an AC plug as well as the battery. The printed circuit says EH5800C.
I need to know where the +9vdc power wire goes on the pc board. The battery is gone and it pulled the power wire off the board when it decided to leave.
Any help would be appreciated. I have attached a picture of the board if that would help.
Thanks.
Really? No one?
The power wire should be that black one to the top right of your picture that’s hanging off.

I thought that was the ground for the wall wart. Thanks.
Ahh, no, the wall wart is grounded through the chassis on these old EHX effects.
