Hi,
Anyone out there have any service info for the old Deluxe Memory Man that uses the
Reticon SAD 1024A chips. I have found many using the MN3005’s,but even EH support doesn’t have this info.
Thanks,
Rich H
Hi Rich,
Hopefully you’ve already noticed that the thread I started a few days ago
*also* asked for schematic help on the older Memory Man using the Reciton
SAD1024s. And a seasoned member posted the schematic for us!
If you find one of the bucket brigade chips is “open” I might be able to
set you up with one.
But, first check all the small electrolytics, keeping an eye out for signs of
leakage & corrosion. Once they’re up to snuff, you can then adjust the delay
chips’ “bias” trimmers so that a waveform going thru the associated chip
shows minimal distortiom.
(Clipping should be equal- above & below- when the input’s “pushed”.)
Good luck! -M
Thanks tekhed,
I did notice the post, but I appreciate the reply anyway.
