Just got a Holy Grail Reverb with the large tin case. I assume this is an older one. No battery box.
I bought it used.
I plugged it in to my pedal board and it is making a high frequency noise. Doesn’t seem to get along very well with my other pedals inline. I am not using the power supply that comes with it. I am running it inline with the same power supply as the other pedals.
thanks
Bill
It requires a good chunk of current so that might be part of your problem. What kind of power supply are you using?
Godlyke 2000mA
Depending on what else you have on it, it should work. Have you tried power the HG by itself?
If pedals are acting strangely when you use them in-line with other pedals try sticking it in the FX loop of your amp.
Seems ok alone. Put it in the chain and I get noise. Take it out, no noies.
Like it doesn’t get along with the other pedals.
No effects loop
try powering it seperately. The older HG’s don’t like being daisy chained.
Thanks I’ll try that!
Thanks
Tried the seperate power supply and it quieted down!
