I don’t know that I want to wait around to find an older deluxe memory man, so I’m wondering what everybody’s opinion on the newer memory pedals is. I’ve also read on DIYstompboxes about replacing the 4558 IC’s on the new DMM board to TL072s, has anybody had any experience with this? I’m looking at the memory boy as well, how does that stack up against an older DMM?
Been working on a Reissue made in Taiwan.
Found that not all MN3005 chips are created equally.
The triangle logo is the one to get.
I replaced all electrolytic caps with Tantalum and the MN3005 with the triangle logo MN3005 and this pedal now sounds as good as a vintage piece.
I have two vintage DMM here to AB with and how I came to my conclusion.
My RI is a plug in the wall type.
