Tagged: Attack Decay Expression
Hi everyone,
I have been using my Attack Decay (the modern digital one) with an expression pedal successfully.
I have encountered an issue with controlling the attack knob using the expression pedal.
I mapped the toe position to the shortest attack time, and the heel position to a medium attack time.
It works well, except for when going to the toe position all the way. The attack time is set to zero and a “click” occurs.
My guess would be that when the attack goes down to zero, it is disconnected from the circuit.
Is there a way to stop this behavior?
It would be great to set the attack time on the fly while playing using the expression, thus emulating the “tape reverse” effect during a solo much more convincingly.
But the click that I’m experiencing doesn’t allow for a smooth switch between long attack and no attack.
Would love to know if anyone encountered this and if you have a solution.
Thank you
